November 2011 — "Downstairs in the Georgetown Inn, is the Georgetown Pub which boasts delicious homemade entrees, appetizers and desserts. A local favorite you will find it packed daily with out of town visitors as well as locals from the town of Canmore. We ate here on a recent get away to Canmore and were more than impressed with the service and the amazing home made food! The prices very reasonable, and the food heart warming! I dont often get a chance to have rabbit and they had a few different menu items to chose from with rabbit in it. I was very excited. I ordered the Rabbit Scouse which is a rabbit stew, home made of course and thick, hearty filled with garden veggies and a gravy broth. Served with rye bread for dipping and your choice of side. $15.00 My wife ordered the Halibut fish and chips and raved about how it was the best she has ever had in a pub. 13.00 for one peice, 16.00 for two. The portion size was large aswell, and I ended up finishing it for her in the end. We also shared the Artichoke, spinach and asiago dip served on a marinated portabello mushroom! The meal was very good, and we shared with each other that we wished it was closer to home so we could go again and more often! A beautiful little hidden gem nestled in the rockies! A must try for all!"

"Stuffed French Toast to die for!"

November 2011 — "On a recent Stay at the Georgetown Inn we enjoyed two meals at the Georgetown Inn Pub which is downstairs and a beautiful little place! We had breakfast on the Sunday morning after our one night stay and were impressed with not on the variety of menu items, but the portion size as well as the home made food! We both decided we wanted the stuffed French toast as it sounded soo good! My husband decided on the Blueberry and Creamcheese stuffed, and I chose the monte-cristo which was swiss cheese and honey ham stuffed into French toast. Wow! They were both so big we couldnt finish. Both served with real maple syrup that was hot and very good. The bread which is made right in the restaurant was big fluffy and white. We enjoyed our meal thoroughly! We also had enjoyed a beautiful meal fireside of the pub the night before and were amazed with the service and the delicious home made entrees! We will most definatly be going again! Everything about this little place is charming and romantic a must try for all! "
