August 2010 — "We visited this establishment for a family function, our party consisted of 6 adults. The restaurant looked and felt like a traditional Chinese restaurant with it’s décor and ambiance. It was clean and inviting, we were seated at a round table making conversation between us very easy and private.
The menu consisted of the standard Canadian Chinese food, we opted for a variety of plates. We started with egg rolls as our appetizers followed by our main dishes that consisted of rice, chicken balls, spare ribs, lobster egg foo-yong, moo-goo guy pan and almond chicken soo guy. This meal was fit for a king, it was served very promptly and very warm. The food tasted amazing, the quality of the ingredients were second to none, you could see the colors popping out in the vegetables and being so fresh you could also taste how fresh they were. The service was second to none; the waitress was always ensuring that our food was ok, topping up our glasses without asking us and just ensuring that our dining experience was great. The food was plentiful, each of us had 2 helpings and there was enough left over to feed 2 adults the next day.
In regards to the pricing, it is a little higher in comparison to other Chinese restaurants in the area however the quality and taste is not comparable; as the old saying goes you get what you pay for.
I will definitely return to the lucky dragon.
