December 2010 — "This place has been around for a while and I'd heard great things about it, so my wife and I checked it out. All of the staff were very friendly and we got seated at a nice table. The prices are definitely on the higher end, but the quality of the food justifies it, I think. I started with the steamed mussels to start, which was a pretty generous serving and very delicious. For my main meal, I ordered the captain's platter, which came with stuffed sole, fried clams, bacon wrapped scallops and stuffed shrimp. I had it with a side of fries and coleslaw and it was way more than enough food for me, and I have a large appetite. I would definitely go back to this restaurant, a good place to take visitors looking for local seafood and nice for a treat out. Some of the decor is a little worse for wear, so I'd suggest a makeover, but the food is amazing."

December 2010 — "I'd been wanting to check out this restaurant for ages, it has been a landmark in the area for decades and is well known for their fresh seafood. The decor is slightly dated and could use a refresh but the food and service make up for all of that. I decided on the broiled Atlantic halibut with a side of rice and a side salad. The halibut was cooked perfectly, nicely seasoned and delicious, the rice was nice and fluffy and the salad was a typical house salad and also very fresh. Foremost, the service is outstanding, it is no wonder they've been in business so long. Despite our party being quite large, there was really no delay in the food service and everything went very smoothly. Everyone's portions were very generous, mine so large I couldn't finish off my meal. It's definitely a treat out to this restaurant, the prices are definitely on the higher end but worth every penny. "
