March 2011 — "The Lure is a restaurant at the Delta Ocean Pointe overlooking Victoria's inner harbour. It has a slightly formal atmosphere creating an elegant yet comfortable appeal. The setting couldn't be more perfect with an unobstructed view of the Empress Hotel, Parliament Buildings the beautiful harbour made even more spectacular with the lights and reflections of evening. There were four of us for dinner and we were happy to be seated at a window table. We ordered some wine to start and our waitress brought a nice selection of breads. Three of us chose from the dine around menu which was a choice of three courses for $30. I had a caesar salad to start, halibut with mashed potatoes and a fresh corn salsa as an entree, banana bread pudding with caramel sauce and Baileys ice cream on the side. Each of us thought our dinners were nicely presented, perfectly prepared and delicious. The service was very good throughout the entire evening. We would definitely return to Lure in the future."
