September 2009 — "Nice surprise! Their great lunch menu offers lots of choices at really great prices. ($7-$9) for a full entre. Soup and sandwich, fish and chips, burger and fries, chicken ceasar salad, etc - I had the Roma Burger- nearly an inch thick patty (very lean), tomato, lettuce, melted cheddar, red onion on a toasted bun- with a side of fries and really good coleslaw! My dining partner had the fish and chips. His came with a side of coleslaw too and a wedge of lemon. He was very impressed with the fries but the fish was not that great for him. He would have preferred a deep fried batter type fish but I'm sure the way this was prepared was a little more health conscious. it had a crispy panko crumb coating. The service was a bit slow but it was worth the extra wait and we will definitely be going back!"

November 2008 — "I have Gluten free dietary needs among a few issues. This was my Absolutely Best dining experience to date. I'm a local to Edmonton. I have been there several times since being there the first time. One error was made and the meal was totally replaced without question when cross contamination was mentioned as a concern. They are most careful and have the Best ribs I've ever had. My dietary restrictions are taken extremely seriously and I can't say enough good things about the place and the Manager who, my first try ever served me himself to make sure I was properly accommodated. His staff are great and seem to be knowledgeable. Just ask for the Gluten Free listing and you can choose safely from it. If uncertain, definitely ask the server. If they don't know, they will ask the Manager who seems extremely well informed. Excellent homey atmosphere.

May 2007 — "The new Grilled Chicken Spinach Stack at Tony Romas is fabulous. I usually have ribs, as their baby-backs are pretty tasty, but decided to try the new addition to the menu. I'm glad I did. The rice it came with had no taste, but the chicken itself was juicy, and the spinach and 4 cheese topping was creamy and very yummy. My husband had the Sirloin Steak and Cheese sandwich, which was pretty uneventful. Go for the ribs or the new Chicken Spinach dish, and you won't be disappointed."
