January 2011 — "My husband and I were at Patrinos for dinner with our son in January 2011.
I would highly reccomend this restaurant.... The food was Excellant! The service was fast and they were very good with our little guy... He is two years old and the waitress brought crayons and played with him...
Very nice to have a stress free dinner away from home...
If your looking for good food and great service and great prices i would Suggest Patrinos Steakhouse located on Bow valley Trail Canmore....."

September 2010 — "We were a party of six. The ambiance and decor was inviting and traditional. Our server was very pleasant and competent. Not to mention the food was absolutely delicious. My husband had the prime rib and still talks about it to our friends. My three children had a variety of options from the Children's menu. My son is very picky and it was no problem altering his pasta dish. Our next visit to Canmore we will be returning to Patrinos."

July 2010 — "The Patrinos Steakhouse is conveniently located within the hotel and motel area in Canmore, in an area heavily frequented by tourists.
The atmosphere was pleasant enough, but not remarkable in any way. Menu choices were standard and included several Pasta and Pizza dishes. For a restaurant that calls itself a Steakhouse, I would have expected more choices in the meat section. The service was decent, albeit a bit slow.
My partner and I both opted for a Pasta dish. He chose the Patrinos Lasagna and I decided to give the Seafood Pasta a try. For my dish, there was a choice of either Tomato or Alfredo sauce and I opted for Tomato. When it came, the sauce was oily and despite it being red it somehow managed to taste like a very cheap Alfredo sauce from a package. It was pretty flavourless otherwise. There was a decent amount of seafood in the pasta, but little variety and it tasted far from fresh. I really did not like it. I could not stomach more than a few spoonfuls and started stealing food from my partner’s plate instead. His lasagna tasted somewhat better, however, it, too, swam in fat and we did not eat very much of it.
At $16 and $20 respectively (before tax) the pasta dishes were not cheap and we felt that we were charged a hefty price for substandard food. We left very disappointed and would definitely never go back there."

September 2009 — "We visited as a party of five. The first issue we had was the waitress - she didn't want us taking up too many tables. We were moved to another table, then she moved us back to the original table she had seated us at. When starters eventually arrived she decided that she wanted to rearrange the furniture and moved a chair over my head whilst I was eating and then proceeded to get everyone to move the table with the food still on it! We were halfway through our mains when she brought our drinks - in dirty glasses. We had to get two sets of cutlery changed due to dryed on food. The food wasn't great, but is was edible. We eat out in Canmore quite regularly and this has got to be the worst meal we have ever had. "

June 2009 — "We saw this restaurant from the hotel where we were staying and decided to dine there for the evening. The restaurant was virtually empty so we had the waiter's full attention. He recommended that we try the daily special which was salmon so we took his advice. We were so pleased with our choice. The salmon was absolutely delicious. It was a large piece of fish and the vegetables accompanying the meal were fresh and not over cooked. The serving was finished off with a large stuffed potato and salad. We were too full for dessert and just settled in with a cup of coffee.
By the time we left the restaurant was full and from what I could see on the other diners' plates the food here looks delicious and nicely presented. The service was good too. Our waiter made sure that we were happy with our meals and that our coffee cups were never empty.

April 2009 — "This was a hidieous experience.
Our family of 5 went for dinner, the following was a summary of the issues.
The salad with my Prime Rib special was half brown, they need to be a little more selective of the produce served. The childs spagetti was good, and quite large. The Chicken Cashew Salad was much like the starter salad for the prime rib, it was full of bad produce.
The childs burger comes loaded with things like red onions, thousand island sauce ect.... not the most appropriate for kids, the gum stuck to the plate was even worse.
The Prime Rib was absolutely the worst I have had in 38 years, the beef was sour! I have never sent beef back in my life, however I had never been served bad beef before. The manager graciously took 50% off the meal stating that I had eaten half. I pointed out that an inspection of the plate would have revealed a large bolus of the Prime Rib under the garnish!

March 2009 — "Patrinos Steak House is located just off the TransCanada Highway in Canmore. I went there with four of my friends while staying in Canmore. Inside it is decorated like an older steak house. The chairs and tables were older and a bit uncomfortable. The table cloth was vinyl and sticky. The décor was sparse and a bit sterile. Our waitress was friendly but sat us then forgot to bring menus. She finally brought us the menus after we waived at her a few times. The menu had a few choices, but I just ordered water and an iced tea. For starters, we ordered bruchetta and pita bread with tatziki sauce. When it came, the waitress did not bring enough plates and some of the ones she did bring were dirty. The appetizers were good, especially the soft warm bread. For the main course, I ordered a Chicken Caesar salad. Our food was surprisingly very good! My Caesar salad was quite large and I was not able to finish it. We sat for quite a while waiting for the waitress to bring our bill. My share was $26.05 including tip. We all decided that if we were ever to eat from Patrinos again, we would order take out."
