August 2008 — "We went into Canmore to grab something to eat before returning to the campsite on the Calgary side of town where we had got the second to last campsite for our tent. It was late afternoon and we chose Beamer’s Coffee place because we could check our email here too (it has free wireless internet access). At the counter we ordered the bacon spinach and tomato (BST) sandwich and the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel along with a couple of decaf coffees to tackle the hunger and thirst and then we sat and enjoyed a relaxed feeling place. The seating area was small with just four or five tables and fortunately it was not busy at that time of day. After chatting for a while we decided to take a couple of cinnamon rolls to go for the following morning’s breakfast because they looked so good. I wish we had a coffee shop like this where I live, although maybe not because I would go there just a little too often."

April 2007 — "Wow! I have to admit that I was very impressed by this little establishment. I enjoyed one of the best cups of coffee I've had in a while, ate a freshly made muffin, while enjoying a picturesque view of the mountains that all tourists would die for. The atmostphere is exactly the kind of thing you need on a quiet Sunday morning. I also enjoyed a little chat with the owner who was not only very charming but very insightful of all his products and explained how his little place is run. Overall, I would recommend this small business to anyone passing through Canmore!"
