July 2010 — "My parents and I visited this restaurant on our trip to Jasper and found the service, food and atmosphere first class. This is my first time filling in a restaurant review, but as my parents are extremely fussy, I felt that this place deserves the attention. Sad to say that the majority of the restaurants in Jasper are for the most part low quality, high priced and not worth your money or time. "

April 2010 — "We tried a few restaurant and were very disapointed but finnally with this one we were really satisfied with the food!!
We had a selection of tempura and four different sushi rolls.It was fresh and they had a nice menu to choose from.
It's fairly cheap considering the great food.

July 2009 — "As a local, I eat here a lot and often send tourists here as well. The food is GREAT! Fresh and tasty. They are working on the decor, which is a bit dated, but don't let that put you off. Prices are reasonable and the food is really good. I have travelled all over the world, and still find this amongst the best I have had, including in New York and Asia!"

October 2007 — "The sushi here is really and truly outstanding. It matches or beats any place I've been to in the city. It is so fresh and of excellent quality.
I've been here a few times and almost always have sushi. The last time I went here, I decided to try one of their bento boxes instead and I was also really pleased with it. It was a lot of food - there was miso soup, green salad, sunomono salad, california rolls, shrimp & veggie tempura and tonkatsu don - all in one meal!
In the winter, they offer an incredible special on Wednesday and Sunday nights - 2 for 1 sushi! Normally "discount" and "sushi" don't go together, but in this case, the quality is still excellent and the value is outstanding.

The restaurant boasts a sushi bar and ozashiki booths, and diners can cook their own nabe hot pots at their table. Japanese beer and saki are available on the drinks menu. open 5pm to 10pm year round, and also from 11.30am to 2.30pm in summer.
