April 2010 — "I don't usually write negative reviews but my experience on Monday night April 12th warrants these comments. First of all our waitress, though friendly was totally clueless with so many things she did the whole night. We were a group of 11 and there for my husband's 65th birthday. We arrived between 6:20 and 6:40. We proceeded to place our order for wine and beer. The first two bottles arrived and that was it for at least an hour. The beer did not arrive even after we were served the appetizers (calamari) and we went up to enquire twice and still it didn't arrive. So those people in our group had nothing to drink for at least an hour. Twice we asked for water and even asked for a jug and glasses and said we'd pour our own--it didn't arrive. The waitress was so clueless--she would bring part of something and not all of it and we'd wait for the rest!! We didn't get the bread for at least two hours--no exaggeration, then only half the order and the other half quite a bit later. Our meals didn't arrive until well after everyone else in the restaurant. We tried to remain positive, but for love nor money, we couldn't get our drinks and food. The manager realized there was a problem and told us we would have some free desserts at the end (four to be exact but even that wasn't handled properly). The waitress brought the fourth dessert way after the first three and by that time we were finished). We were the last ones to leave and it was getting on to ten o'clock and I mean we were the absolute last. After all of that they brought the bill and the manager who seemed to be responsible for it gave it to the waitress and she brought it to us. It was half price pasta night and he/she (waitress) charged us full price for that. We were overcharged $88 and so we had to wait again while they fiddled with the bill. The 15% gratuity was charged and we paid it without grumbling, but one wonders why we were charged it for such lousy and I mean lousy service. I have to say the food when it did arrive (2 1/2 hours later was tasty), but why were we served after all the other people in the restaurant. I think they had different waiters/waitresses. The one we had should have been more closely monitored by the manager--leaving us without water, drinks, bread, and being left to be served after everyone else. I was embarrassed and felt very letdown about my hubby's special birthday. So much for special occasions being a special time to celebrate!!! I suggest you monitor your quality control more closely. "

May 2007 — "On Mothers Day this year my husband and I, accompanied by two others, decided to try this Restaurant which was new to the Heritage area. I was very impressed with the Restaurant itself....but the food was another story. My husbands spaghetti had a disgusting tomato sauce, looked like pure tomato paste...and he didnt feel he could eat it. I had a steak with garlic shrimp...the steak was not bad, but the shrimp was barely warm and extremely dry, certainly not like any other garlic shrimp Ive ever had before.
I cant recall what the other two had, but I do recall that both of them ended up with gobs of that terrible tomato "sauce" on their food as well.
None of us felt our meals were worth a second trip back. I dont mind paying for good food, but for close to $150.00 I'll choose another place in the future.
