August 2011 — "The service was horrible, the pizza was burnt, we waited over and hour and a half for the pizza in the first place, and the "manager" on duty claimed none of that was his problem when I complained. SERIOUSLY.
If there were negative points, this place would get them. SO dissapointed. "

July 2010 — "The Jasper Pizza Place is a popular and busy restaurant in the heart of Jasper. It was recommended to us by the front staff of the Lodge we were staying at. The decor was relatively modern and we could get a glimpse of how the Pizzas were made and shoved into the oven behind the counter.
The menu featured various American and Italian-style Pizzas, a few salad and sandwich/ burger choices, as well as a handful of Pasta dishes and Meat entrees. I ordered the vegetarian Athabasca, one of the Italian-style Pizzas. It was no problem to substitute onions for the black olives this pizza normally comes with. My partner decided to go with the Cavell Pizza: A daring concoction of Blue Cheese, Sour Cream and Black Olives.
The Pizzas came fresh out of the stone-oven, mine with a delightful mix of Artichokes, Red Peppers, Mushrooms and Onions. The crust was unusual in that it had an almost rough texture – I had the impression that it may have included corn flour. I did not mind, but it may not be for everyone. My partner’s Pizza came with a very creamy topping that ended up being too heavy with a very one-sided flavor. We enjoyed our meal, but it could not compare with a good Italian Pizza Place.
The servers appeared to be quite young and were friendly, but not always efficient (we had to wait quite a while for our bill). At the beginning, I noticed that my water glass was not completely clean, but the server took it back without hesitation. Overall we were happy with our meal and the prices were okay for a tourist destination."

July 2010 — "Went in with my family of six and had a great experience. The food was awesome especially the roasted vegetable salad would kill for the recipe. The cost was very reasonable. The cook was a wonderful person with a great personality. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Jasper"

January 2010 — "...but the lasagna is definitely not good. It wasn't even lasagna at all. It was a giant bowl of noodles, with a bit of runny meat sauce and some baked cheese on top. The sauce only went part way through the noodle pile, so the meal was dry and bland. I've had much better lasagnas from the frozen section of the grocery store.
Lasagna and a glass of juice cost me just under $20 before tip, which is pricey, considering the (lack of) quality.
The restaurant itself seems pretty decent - cheery and casual. Too bad the food was so disappointing.

Wood-fired pizza is the specialty at Jasper Pizza Place, with traditional and gourmet toppings. America-style pizza is also on the menu, along with pasta, burgers, salads and more. A fun, casual vibe inspires relaxation and pool tables, pinball and foosball are all there to be enjoyed. Enjoy a cold beer on the roof-top patio.
