April 2010 — "I am always worried about choosing a restaurant in Banff as they tend to be a bit expensive. This restaurant is quite close to downtown. It has the typical pub atmosphere and the decor is made up primarily of old skis and snow shoes. We were greeted the minute we entered and had our menus within seconds of sitting down. Our drinks arrived soon afterwards. Most of the main entrees are burgers paninis and wraps which are all $14.00 and come with a side choice. While waiting for our meals, there were Trivial Pursuit cards with which to amuse ourselves. When my husband's meal came out, the waitress apologized and said she did not think my meal was fit to come out (I had ordered the Cascade Panini, with a side of poutine). She said the gravy had soaked the bread. She brought out the poutine so I could have something to eat while my panini was remade. When it came out, it looked very appetizing and tasted as good as it looked. It was made with grilled peppers, zucchini and eggplant and mozzarella cheese. Without prompting, the waitress gave us 20 per cent off of our bill for the inconvenience. All in all, this would be a great restaurant for anyone to enjoy."

December 2007 — "Well this was a fast one. The day had been way to long already, I had been trying to get out for food since 5pm and now was 8:30.
I needed food to go, and wanted something fresh, and fast. I go to the bar and ask for a sandwich to go. They start with all the different kinds of bread, meats, options, sides but I'm WAY to hungry (hangry) to decide. So the bar tender talks to the cook and 5 minutes later I have a great salad, and a nice warm, chewy sandwich. All this for under $10 too.
The salad was very nice, fresh, not just iceburg lettuce and some shredded carrots. Had a few kinds of lettuce, some beets, carrots, and a nice light dressing. Great healthy option . They also have fries and sweet potato fries too, and some other options that looked good too.
The sandwich was very nice. nice size, stuffed with meat, fried onions, some nice BBQ sauce. Very filling. Lots of options for other ones too. Chicken, salmon, beef, bison, and a veggie option too. They even remembered to cut it so you can just have half. Also remembered the napkins, fork for salad, and separate boxes for the cold salad, and the warm sandwich.
