February 2010 — "We visited this restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were greeted cordially and given a wonderful table right next to the window. The service was great, our waitress was friendly and chatty. We had the beef bourginon for two, which although was a bit expensive ($80) was very well prepared and cooked to our liking. I tried the port sampler after dinner, which was an ounce each of white port, 10 year and 20 year old port, for $14.50 which was a nice treat. My husband had a Bailey's and coffee which he unfortunately tossed all over his new outfit, but the waitress was kind enough to mop him down and provide him with another Bailey's and coffee on the house. All in all, a great experience."

February 2009 — "My husband took me there for my birthday. The food was yummy, and our waiter was very chatty and very nice. We had a three hour dinner, it was the perfect birthday dinner."

July 2007 — "we are from alask and visited edmonton and were searching for a top of the line restaurant. we searched the internet and found la ronde to be the one we would like to dine in. we were very disappointed to find it was not. everything we read about the food was just untrue.my husband ordered the bison ribeye which was suggested by the waitress and it was very tough. the veges were mediocre and i ordered the venison that was so overdone i could not eat but a bite.the dessert the apple strudel was not even warm and something i could have made at home better tha theirs.the service slow it took forever for our glasses of wine,and she was so busy no time to chat and very rushed all in all.$140.00 for dinner and one glass of wine a peice so needless we won't go back or recommend to anyone."
