November 2007 — "Yes this is the best of the best for high end dining in Banff. They are high priced, but you are getting some of the best chefs, waiters, wine lists, etc in the valley. We went during a fall promotion with a new menu. Both my partner and I have been to the Eden a few times over the years, and once again they didn't let us down. The meal was a 6-course deal with all kinds of extras. The wine list is huge and covers all price ranges from $30 to $????? and with neither of knowing much about wines we selected the wine pairing that the staff offered. They did a great job, Nice to try so many kinds of wines with a meal, and all that were selected just for that particular plate. All the wines where 1/2 pours for the starters and the main was a full glass. Even dessert got its own icewine. The starters where excellent and we both ordered a few different ones to to try out. The mains again where amazing and with us both ordering different things gave us a great sampler of what the kitchen could do After dessert, Ice wine, and a coffee, even a small assortment of chocolates. This is not a evening out for everyone, all the time, but every now and then, for a special night out, when everything has to be done just right, This is the place to do it. "
