November 2010 — "Giorgio's offers great Italian food at reasonable prices. I went with three girlfriends on a weekend away in Banff and we had a great meal. It started off almost embarrassingly when one of my friends whispered to us that she hoped a very good looking waiter who had served her on her last visit was there. The girl who seated us overheard this and had a good laugh with us, telling us that she knew who we were talking about but sadly he wasn't there that night.
The service was great the entire night. The wine menu was impressive and while my friends all ordered red wine, I got a glass of very nice Sauv Blanc. We all shared an Italian salad which was fresh and delicious. We also shared a sampler of bruschetta and it was fantastic!
I got a seafood linguine for my main meal. I found it a bit salty and slightly oily but it still tasted good. The other girls all enjoyed their meals as well. By the end we were too full for dessert but really enjoyed our experience. "

"Disappointing"Jim
November 2008 — "We visited Giorgio's for my wife's recent birthday. Hmm....seriously disappointing. The place was packed, the kitchen couldn't keep up, the orders got screwed up, service was slow. It was a real mess.
I expected a lot better from a high-end Italian restaurant. I don't think we'll go back."

January 2008 — "I have enjoyed dining at Giorgios several times in the last few years. The staff are wonderful, the wine list is worth the drive from Calgary, the food is classic italian, fresh and perfect. I have never - in all my travels - found a bartender as helpful, professional and knowledgable as the one here. They did not carry a selection of beer my boyfriend prefers, however, the bartender was able to recommend an alternative which was even better! The pizza is incredible, but I am a such a fan of their shrimp and clam linguini that I hardly ever stray.
Highly reccomended. You'll love it and want to go back for seconds! "

November 2007 — "Classic, nothing new, nothing too high end, nothing to casual.
Was great again, I have been here off and on for many years, seen the staff change, the menu change, but some will always be the same.
Sat at the bar and had a beer to wait for out buddies, nice to see a TV hidden in the top corner, but still a full wine list, etc. Bar staff was not that knowledgeable about some the exotic beer that they had, but at least they had more then coors lite.
Place is OK for lighting, casual, but not too dark to read the menu, low music, (just remove the screaming kids).
Staff was very knowledgeable about the wines and food. Warned us that the wine we picked was dry, and made sure that we were OK with this. Nice to see staff that know what they are serving and how it can go together (or not).
6 of us where seated fast, in a nice table, lots of room. Staff was fast to get us a round of drinks and wine. Then took the orders. Food was a bit slow, but great when it came out. The group had salads, soups, mussels, and all was hot, fresh, tasty, and fun to share, and enjoy.
Plates where cleared and again the wait for mains, We where all talking and having fun, but still a bit of time between courses. all 6 of us had different things, all hot, yummy, nice presentation. The lamb I had was a bit fatty, I should have stuck with my favorite the roselinne. Others had that and it looked great.
Desserts: The brownie was very dense. not dry, but firm. Not the light thing that I was expecting, but good all the same. The rest of the group sounded happy with the food too."
