February 2007 — "All you can eat pasta usually brings back memories of a bad fake Italian “family” dining places. This is the other end of the scale. The Rimrock hotel is one of the finest hotels in the bow valley, and when they do a pasta buffet you know that it will be good. This is offered in the winter months, on Wednesdays, and for only $25. (add $3 more for the dessert buffet too) This includes a huge selection of salads, cheese, crackers, bread, seafood, and fruit as the starters. All of this was nicely laid out, labeled, fresh and looked great. For the main even you can pick from 6+ different proteins (shrimp, scallops, sausage, chicken etc) and then bring that up to the pasta bar for cooking. You then get to select some onions, garlic, crushed chillies, and other spices to the plate. Then select your sauce (red or white) and your pasta (3 or 4 options too). Get small portions so you can have room to go to the bar a few times. Might as well try a few kinds of your creations. Dessert was only $3 more but after a few rounds of both appies and pasta it was just a bit too much to think about. They looked great, but we where done. "
