December 2009 — "While staying at the Hyatt Regency, we enjoyed the one of a only a few meals we would share during a very brief visit to Calgary: Sunday breakfast. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Hyatt Regency hotel. In fact, if you need to use a washroom while in the hotel lobby, the restaurant offers the only facilities. Our breakfast was a buffet. I don't know if a menu is offered. It was not necessary. The weekend brunch is available until 1:30 pm. The buffet offered many egg and meat based choices. This morning, I didn't feel like a hot meal. Instead, I thought I would experiment with the breakfast cereal options. There was plenty of choice. I could choose from seven different cereals and four different milk options. I could then sprinkle my cereal with brown sugar, raisins and various assortments of nuts. Add to this a variety of pastries and great table-side service for beverages. It was a good breakfast. According to the restaurant, reservations are highly recommended for lunch and dinner. "

November 2007 — "I have to admit I was left speechless by the fantastic food & service we had at the restauraunt. I travel a great deal, and it's easy to get sick of rich, 'hotel restauraunt' food, but the server was very accomodating, and suggested the kitchen create a 'lighter' meal that was not even on the menu! It was a spectacular dish. Service was attentive without being nagging, and the quality was great. Highly recommended! It's not a typical hotel restauruant, I promise!"

October 2006 — "Wow, The food at Thomsons was amazing. I had 3 courses, which was better and better with each meal. The Venison dish is great with a nice open kitchen so you can see the cooks making your dish as it's ordered it was fantastic. The only downfall is the service I have never seen a sever as in apt as ours they are somewhat rude and he made us feel as thou were inconveniencing him just by being there. We could see our food sitting in the hot window as our server walked past it many times other then the service it was great."
