July 2009 — "We sat on the outside balcony to eat a late lunch. On a nice day, this is where to sit when you go here.
This restaurant was transformed from a family home in 1995. The door molding and maple trees (going through balcony) are part of the history of the house.
There are 2 since stall washrooms located inside. The one was very quaint with a small sink. They faucets are separate (hot and cold) and do not combine into one faucet.
I enjoyed the vegetable fusilli. It was very tasty; fresh vegetables, black olives, feta cheese, with a sun dried tomato and herb olive oil. It was served warm. I also ordered a broccoli soup which was served piping hot. You are served a basket of fresh baked buns from the local bakery before you meal arrives. For dessert, I drooled over this amazing piece of pecan pie. It had a regular crust, caramel layer, cream cheese layer and a caramel pecan combination on the top. It was presented with whipped cream….yum yum!
The staff was friendly. They are located right on the main road at a corner. Be sure to slow down so you don’t miss the turn to the parking lot out back. There may be more seating outside than inside.
