February 2011 — "I have been a repeat customer at Reiko's for many years. I find the sushi is fresh and very good. The service at lunch is very quick. The value is very good, hence my frequent visits. This is not a fancy sit-down type of restaurant, but a place to go if you want good, economical sushi."

May 2010 — "I've eaten at Reiko's Sushi Bar 3 times now, and each time the experience is exactly the same. The food is slow to come out, the prices are high (20 dollars for 2 rolls and some nigiri), and the service is harried and average at best. Basic things like the sushi rice is improperly prepared and of poor quality (who has ever heard of unsticky sticky rice?). I'd only recomend Reiko's sushi bar if you are desperate for sushi on a downtown lunch break and have money to burn. "

December 2008 — "This place always has high quality and fresh fish. I go there about 3-4 times a year and have never had a bad experience. Lunch time can get busy, so go early to beat the rush unless you don't mind waiting for a seat."

September 2007 — "I have gone dozens of times to this restaurant. Seating is tight especially when busy, service is variable because they are always training new waiteresses. Service is quicker if you have an earlier noon reservation but if you arrive later you get caught in the order backup. The food is very tasty and the quality is very good for the price. If you want sushi avoid the combo and order à la carte because the pieces are much bigger. If you like sashimi the combo is a real bargain. They make excellent cones. If you're hungry try the futo makis."

October 2006 — "i'm sorry to say but it was yuck it was really really terrible...the sushi wasn't good at all the service was unacceptable based on the fact that it's such a small space and there were hardly any people in the place to begin with. Also, as my friend and i walked in we were told to sit anywhere we wanted but as soon as we did we were told to move. My friend had ordered one of those combos (soup, salad, sushi, green tea, and desert) but because we asked to get the food we didn't want to eat packed up the waitress didn't give us the desert. We were stunned...the nerve!!!!!...."
