December 2009 — "This was not our first time at Da Guido's so we knew we were in for a treat when we made a reservation for New Years Eve. When we arrived I was a little disappointed to find out we had a shortened New Years Eve dinner menu. The regular menu has such a diverse and excellent selection. However, the chef must have selected the most popular and delicious appetizers, salads, and entrees for this menu. Because of the size of our group we pretty much had every dish at our table and each person rated their selections as excellent (9 or 10 out of 10). Desert was selected from their regular desert menu (delightful). The service was very good and the wine selection was very good as well. A great place for couples or small groups."

November 2008 — "I usually don't write reviews but I have to write one up for Da Guido's in Calgary. I have dined at Da Guido's about 8 times and they never fail on their service and food quality. Try out their special seafood appetizer. It is to die for. I've also held many larger dinner functions and even though they have space limitations, everything worked out wonderfully. "

September 2007 — "I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fast home cooked meal. After placing my order for the Raviolini with mushrooms in a decadent cream sauce, my meal arrived in 10 minutes. The staff was very fast and efficient but the only complaint I would have is that they tended to stare a lot and asked one too many times if everything was ok. Also, there was an annoying fly that kept buzzing around our table. My dining companion had the caneloni, which he said was delicious. The prices for the food was reasonable but the drinks were overpriced, $9 for two iced teas. The table for two is a little on the small side, making it cluttered and not much room to put all the plates, menu, etc. The atmosphere was nice and elegant with black leather chairs at all the tables. I would go back again."
