September 2011 — "This intimate restaurant in Kensington features contemporary Vietnamese fusion food 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. The focus is Vietnamese crepes with a health-conscious twist – some are gluten free and/or dairy free, along with vegetarian featured crepes featuring an interesting blend of Asian and other. Examples of more unusual crepes included Bacon Cheeseburger or Basa crepes; I decided to try out the Athena crepe which combined chicken, onion, feta and spinach for $11.50. Every meal offers a side salad and suggestions for pairing with their featured drinks. I decided to pair my meal with a Vietnamese cold coffee for $4 which was very tasty although lacked the more traditional presentation of drip coffee and condensed milk. I thoroughly enjoyed my crepe and coffee and was full enough to opt out of dessert. The ambience is interesting; brightly coloured plastic chairs and tables, primary colours on the walls, and a few tables outside for warmer days. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to those who are attempting to be health-conscious and enjoy Asian food."

September 2011 — "This restaurant is Vietnamese but with a twist. They specialize in Banh xeo. I had no idea what that was so I read the small print. They are savory pancakes made with rice flour, turmeric powder, coco milk, and water. When they arrive they look huge, but they aren't nearly as filling as they appear. They are kind of like a puffy crepe that collapses when you cut into it and reveals the filling inside. To give some perspective, it looked bigger than a big omelette, but was actually less food and less filling. More of a feast for the eyes. It was quite flavorful, but it wasn't enough food for the price. On the positive side, it was a totally new culinary adventure which is always fun. Mine was the Chorizo special for $14. Most were about $12. Inside the restaurant the walls and tables were mostly white, which gave a clean, airy look to the establishment. I was pleased to note that they have some chairs and tables outside for warmer days and evenings. Calgary needs as much of that as possible. "
