August 2011 — "David’s Tea on Johnson street is a great new spot for a tea experience! As I walked by the tea shop I was enticed by the smell of fresh brewed tea. As I walked in there were a few staff members at the counter behind a wall of tea talking to customers, and one of the staff saw me and welcomed me with enthusiasm. She assisted me right away and asked what kind of tea I was in the mood for and she brought three canisters of tea to smell and read about. She was very patient as I reviewed the teas and I ended up choosing a new Rooibos tea “Jessie’s Tea” of rooibos, roasted coconut and lavender, it is one of the best herbal teas I’ve had! I highly recommend David’s Tea."

August 2011 — "I went into David's Tea with my daughter. She already loves the place and this was my first visit. We were offered a sample of some wonderful flavoured tea on arrival which set the stage for exploring the many varieties of tea blends they have to offer.
Tins are brought down and opened for you to see and smell. The aromas are wonderful, some unusual, all visually interesting, many tempting.
At no time did we feel rushed or pressured to buy and the staff are knowledgeable and very passionate about the quality and uniqueness of the teas they sell.
In the end we did buy a couple of blends to try. One called, Read my Lips, is the most delicious blend of black tea, chocolate bits, vanilla, peppermint and red peppercorns with tiny candy lips mixed in. We also chose a delicious berry blend and a packet of strawberry blend recommended for iced tea.
The actual store is interesting as well. Very spacious and open with wonderful tea related displays on tables and the walls. Tea pots, mugs, travel items, sample packs, all sorts of accessories and great gift ideas for tea lovers. All are reasonably priced. I will definitely shop at David's Tea again."
