June 2011 — " Toa Vietnamese Restaurant is so very close to where I work that I decided to possibly give it a chance. I figured it would be fast enough, and I was feeling so very very hungry. It may be that it was a bit later than usual lunch time, so that's why it was my very own private restaurant that day. But when I have walked past Toa during lunch time, it has been seen to be very busy. The restaurant in itself is very tidy and the servers are very pleasant. Of course I got a lot of attention the day that I went, seeing as I was the only one there, but I don't think it would be any different any other day. I took a quick glance at the menu for my search of Satay, and decided to give it a try here. In mere minutes, I was quickly presented with a bowl of satay beef noodle soup. I was excited, but truthfully, I was even more disappointed to see that satay really just meant some hot pepper flakes. No flavour. Nothing special but just numbness.When the tab came, I was not overly impressed either. It wasn't so expensive, but it was just a jip that a dollar more was added for flakes. It's close but there are others. The search for yummy satay continues... "
