"An Ultralounge in Lethbridge...Who Would've Thunk It"

July 2011 — "I saw this ultra patio from afar and had to check it out with the hopes that the food would live up to the decor. The inside is chique yet large with faux gator skinned seats and large booths. The foyer has a whole wall of candles which was a nice touch. The patio is unmatched. It has a huge infinity fountain in the middle, tall poles with fire, cedar trusses, large flowers planters, glass walls which keep out the street noise, and comfortable seating arrangements for groups large and small. The menu was as unique as the decor. I enjoyed the duck clubhouse for $16.50 which had bbq duck, chicken, prosciutto, lettuce, tomato, brie, black current aioli on grilled cinnamon raisin bread. It also came with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. I was worried the cinnamon raisin bread would over-power everything but it was an amazing combination. I could taste the smoky bbq flavour in the duck and it was so tender. This place is attached to a hotel so the bathrooms were a little far away but they were so nice it made it worth the walk. There also seemed to be a lot of tables of just women as though it was the pre-drink place to be on a Saturday night. The service was exceptional. It started pouring so everyone quickly moved in from the patio and the service didn't skip a beat."
