May 2011 — "During Lilac Festival, we ducked into a little restaurant to watch the parade of people go by. Looking around the tiny place, I noticed that the walls were pretty much the same creamy colour over the entire restaurant and that even the art hung on the wall was the same creamy colour. It was almost camouflaged! It was unusual but I liked it. The waitress was all smiles and I settled into my meal, Eggs Florentine. To be honest, I don't think I have ever had Eggs Florentine before. It was spinach, ham and cheese mixed with eggs and served in a square bowl. The flavour was quite subtle, seeming relying on the natural flavour of the ingredients to satisfy the tastebuds. There was enough food to take the edge of my hunger, but it wasn't really a very big meal. I think it was about $12. Although the menu only had a few items on it that day, my impression is that I would enjoy trying another offering on another occasion. "
