June 2010 — "In all my years in Calgary, I have never been to the Crossroads Market. However a colleague convinced me to go. In the market there were plenty of food choices. I opted for the "Old Munich Sausages" restaurant. The menu was fairly simple with your choice of sausage..bratwurst, hungarian spicy, amongst others. I settled for the Bratwurst. In creating the sausage, you were asked to choose what you wanted on it. I opted for cheese (which was like nacho cheese), onions, ketchup. They also had plenty of other choices on their menu. Watching them prepare the meal was neat. They placed all of the condiments in a long piece of baguette style bread. Then they inserted the sausage of your choice into the middle of the bread. I have to say that this was different and great! It was a no mess way to eat, but even more importantly a tasty lunch. I would definitely come again, next time trying a different type of sausage."
