May 2011 — "There is nothing visually appealing about this place. The sign is boring, the inside is bland, the menu looks typical but the huge portions and flavourful vietnamese classics make up for all that. The name of the place includes the word 'Western' which I assume is due to the fact that they included a few items on the menu such as poutine, chicken fingers and burgers. Perhaps a little confused but I guess it doesn't hurt to offer something for the less adventurous. I ordered the rice vermicelli # 34 which was topped with grilled chicken and spring rolls. It came with the usual carrot slivers, lettuce and fish sauce. But all together it was very tasty and plentiful for only $9.25. There was plenty of Sun newspapers to enjoy while I ate and the guy at the counter was very friendly and the food was ready almost immediately. I have already returned to this place a few times since and it's been great every time. My wife enjoys the vegetarian options just as much too. "
