December 2011 — "I was curious what the food at Ikea was like as I have often noticed that the prices are definitely good. The whole dining centre reminds me of the cafeteria on any of the BC ferries, but without the water and fresh air. I chose the carrot and broccoli soup, a cheese bun, something that could have been flapper pie, and two spinach cheese crepes that were organic. The soup went down quite well and was my favorite part of the meal. I found the crepes to be mushy and tasteless. That was disappointing as the term organic had me thinking they would be good. The cheese bun was just okay. The pie was somewhat enjoyable. I estimate that the whole mean cost about five or six bucks. It conquered my hunger but it was worth about that and I won't be hankering for more anytime soon. I think though, that if you are on a budget and have children, it may be a worthwhile family meal. "

May 2011 — "We drove out to Ikea and decided that we were hungry and would give the Ikea restaurant a try. It is set up like a cafeteria, just like anything that has to do with Ikea - you serve your self and clean your own tables. But wow - totally worth it for the price. My wife had a ham and swiss baguette with soup and a pop, my daughter a kids meal with Mac and Cheese and milk and I had pasta with garlic bread and soup as well as a soda. It was surprisingly delicious.It had a home made quality to it! And the best part - all of that food for three of us for $15.00!!! I still can't believe it! Next time we will have to go for breakfast.....apparently if you go before 11 you can get breakfast for $1. I mean how can you beat that! Ikea.....who knew? Wish it wasn't so far a drive for us! "
