March 2012 — "So my wife has been having some health issues of late and we are exploring the "gluten free" lifestyle. In search of a meal that wouldn't make her super sick we headed to Fergus and Bix to check them out. They are listed on the Celiac website as a good place to check out. The food is typical pub fare. But the menu does have quite a few gluten options. Including sandwiches, burgers, most of the pasta dishes and the flatbread pizzas. Oh and they also have Gluten free beer. Although we didn't try any. I ordered a gluten free meal along with her to support her. So we both had a chicken pasta dish. This was the first time we had had gluten free pasta. It was actually pretty good. The sauce was changed from alfredo to a tomato sauce which was quite tasty. Although it is quite expensive (about $21 per pasta dish) I am quickly learning that this is the norm to eat gluten free!"

May 2011 — "Fergus & Bix is a really good restaurant located in SW Calgary. The name does make it sound like a pub, but it is much more than that. We have been there for both brunch and lunch. The service is always friendly and the food is fast and fresh. On this visit I had the Grilled Chicken Wrap, with a side of fries and caesar salad (each sandwich or burger comes with your choice of 2 sides which is nice). The wrap was great, and had bacon, cheese and veggies in it. The plate of food was so big that I could only eat half of the wrap and the sides. This is a great little place, the menu is quite diverse - I think they have the best ahi tuna in the city! It is very reasonably priced. I should mention that children can not go here for dinner, as it becomes a bar at night, and that is the rule. It can also be a little loud at times, especially when there is a game on (they do have flat screen TV's)."
