March 2011 — "Having purchased a promotional deal at Sushi Motto I was more that happy to finally get a chance to give this place a try. Now firstly, the address is on 16th Ave. and 14th Street SW, uptown on 17th Ave. The area for me, that I never go to because finding a place to part serves to be a bit of a challenge. And though we were lucky, it was still a bit of a trek in some cool temperature. Anyway, this deal online was one of the hottest ones through dealfind and it took a while for us to get as well, but when my friend and I went, the restaurant was near empty at around 6:30 PM or so. In regards to the food, it was pretty good sushi, but there are definitely ones that surprise and were of better quality, so if it had not been for the coupon, we may have tried the food and felt a little ripped off. The rolls were a little smaller than average size, but overly impress me as a whole to begin with. Presentation does make a difference and for me, this place did not deliver.Though the service was not only pleasant, it was super quick and they were right there for your needs, which is very important. The cobra roll was pretty different and we ordered some sashimi, tataki and some smaller rolls, which were just alright to me. "
