April 2011 — "The Tikka House just opened up and replaced another east indian restaurant that wasn't so great. Our server was so nice and playful with our baby. I started off with the cheese pakora $6.95 which was deep fried homemade cheese squares with a samosa-like surrounding. There was 8 of these delicious squares and they came with a sweet red dipping sauce that I would compare to catalina salad dressing. I was full before the main entree arrived which was chicken shahi korma $13.95. The entrees come with choice of naan read or basmati rice. The chicken dish was in a creamy coconut sauce with a few bits of maraschino cherries and cashews. I loved that the cashews were very crunchy so I assume they didn't cook the dish with the cashews but rather added them after. I could only eat half of the entree since it was quite large. On the side I also had garlic naan $1.95 which was 4 large pieces of buttered naan with chunks of garlic. I loved the chunky garlic since I could actually taste it and it wasn't processed. The decor was very nice with traditional east indian ornaments and black table cloths on all the tables and dark red napkins. I can hardly wait to go back for their buffet when they start it up. This place is fresh out of the gates in the lead. "
