April 2011 — "This is a nice quaint little place on 5th Ave downtown. Since there's not a lot of choice at that end of downtown, it's a nice addition. The take out lunchbox is 9.99 and the buffet is 12.99. The buffet was OK with basmati rice, pickled veggies, beef vindaloo, butter chicken, daal, potato with veggie, naan bread, and some sauces. I quite liked the beef vindaloo and butter chicken since it wasn't dry and there was no fat on the meat. The desert was a little lacking. It was a colorful sweet rice with maraschino cherries. It was nothing special. This place is only a few weeks old so they are working out some kinks on service. I had to go up to the server and ask for water after we already had our first plate. The server was really nice though. The decor is contemporary and quite nice and welcoming. I would go back but would like to see more adventurous items on the buffet."
