November 2011 — "A hostess greeted us immediately and took us to our seat. Our drink order was taken right away and brought right away. The waitress was very friendly and took our order. Fortunately I was with good company otherwise I might have begun to get upset at how long the meal was taking. It was lunch so one expects quicker service because one usually does not have a lot of time for lunch. The food came about 30 minutes later. The food was excellent and we could tell it didn't sit waiting to be taken out. The waitress warned us about the hot plates. As one would expect it did get busy over the lunch hour. We didn't see a lot of servers - maybe three at the most. Not once did I see someone I could identify as the manager/supervisor. We sat for a bit waiting for the waitress to remove our plates and bring us our bill. We sat for 10 minutes with our bills and our money out but the waitress never returned. So we went up to the hostess' bar by the front door thinking we would get quicker service. We stood another 10 minutes. The servers were all engaged in taking orders and bring out food. We finally got someone to take our money when another lady who wasn't with us and wanted to complain about the length her food was taking to get to her, found a server to assist us. I checked for a bartender or a manager/supervisor during our wait to see if they could help cash us out, but there wasn't one to be found. Our server was very friendly but I think had too many tables. I was disappointed a manager wasn't to be seen during our stay, which was close to 1.5 hours. "
