January 2011 — "For a quick lunch, I opted for a viet sub at the spring roll chalet, found downtown. Primarily a Vietnamese restaurant, serving the popular soup noodle dishes, vermicelli noodle bowls, along with a good selection of viet Subs, even some wonton noodle soups. Next on my to do list of things to try is their Spring Roll, but I was more than satisfied with my first try, their satay beef sub. It may have looked a little grungy, but there were picture after picture of their menu and everything looked very good. I had to wait a little bit for my sub, but it was worth the wait. The meat was very flavorful and super juicy. Even without really eating yet, the smell was enough to make your stomach growl for more. The sub was around $7 and in general, the dishes were around there, less than $9 and you are stuffed by the end. I think I will give this place a try and get a taste of some of the other available dishes. "
