February 2011 — "Having been familiar with their locations in Calgary, I stopped by the lounge of the Cactus Club inside West Edmonton Mall, and was pleasantly surprised by not just the ambiance but the food. The lounge at this Cactus Club has an almost ultra-lounge feel, with a great DJ spinning mellow tracks, and a bar located in the centre of the room. All burgered out from one too many fast food stops over the weekend, I decided to give the bbq duck clubhouse a try, and was surprised by how well the duck and ham worked together. Definitely a great sandwich if you need something a bit out of the ordinary. One thing I wouldn't recommend here are the Caesars, I ordered a couple and in both cases the amount of tabasco they placed in them was just overwhelming. Our server was a Calgary transplant, and had obviously had a lot of experience. She was quick with making sure our table was well bussed and our glasses never ran dry."
