February 2011 — "We went for a family lunch during the week since this lunch buffet is only offered Mon-Fri at the moment. When you walk in the place it's a very contemporary decor with red glass walls separating parts of the dining area. The front of the house is the 'sweet house' because it has a cooler full of homemade Indian desserts with the main ingredient being sugar. Some of the sweets are spongy bread sopping with syrup and some are like halvah. All are amazing! The buffet is a flat $17 which is a little high but is worth it if you know the difference between made-from-scratch Indian food vs. made-from-jar Indian food. There were about 10 main dish items, 2 desserts, 6 sides to choose from. I tried the 'tawa chicken' which is on-the-bone, spicy, smoky and fantastic. The 'rogan josh beef' is boneless pieces of beef in a flavourful brown gravy. The 'kadi pakoda' are lentils in a yellow sauce which is quite tasty. The 'chat pradi' is a unique side dish which is tiny crouton-like pieces mixed with some spices and should be topped with a sweet/spicy sauce. It deserved seconds. The buffet also had common dishes such as veg pakora, butter chicken, beets, and yogurt sauce. The service has always been amazing since my wife and I went during their first week open in 2010. They remember us and always give us a complimentary sweet treat of our choice. They make sure to ask if everything is OK and are genuine when they ask if there's anything that can be improved. Our response is always "Everything is perfect""
