January 2011 — "I was in the Northeast of Calgary on a course through work and this noodle house on 32nd Ave was really close to where we were so my co-workers and I decided to check it out. We were a little skeptical at first but we weren't disappointed! At first glance, the place looks a bit run-down -- and it seems they didn't take down the decor from the last restaurant because it looks like an Italian eatery inside with fake vines and murals on the wall. As for the menu, it was lacking in most of the "westernized" Vietnamese dishes like lemongrass chicken, which lead us to believe that it's a more authentic Vietnamese place than others (Also, there was the fact that we were the only white people there.) Actually, there wasn't any chicken anywhere on the menu -- it was all beef and pork and seafood. A few of us ordered the same thing (Can't remember the exact number but let's say it was 32) -- when we ordered, the guy barked at us, "No, you order 33! Same but better!" What he meant what "better for him" because it turns out they had run out of 32. However, I was glad we took his advice because 33 was delicious. All in all, it was a great lunch. The service was prompt, the food was good and the price was excellent. I would go back. "
