January 2011 — "The Sticky Wicket in Victoria is a local favorite and when we are visiting Victoria it is one of our favorite pubs to relax and have a great meal. It is a tasteful sports memorabilia restaurant and pub. When you walk in you are greeted by the host/hostess, they are very welcoming and cheerful. Our server was very efficient and took our drink orders right away. We sat in more of the pub style area of the restaurant with large screen TV’s for whatever sports you can enjoy during your meal. We were pleased to watch the football and hockey games that were on; really it is best of both worlds for the sports fan. The menu features something for everyone and is very reasonably priced. I enjoyed the Halibut burger with yam fries served with rosemary ketchup, and my partner enjoyed his roasted lamb Sheppard’s pie, I even had to try a little and it was delicious! If you are in the Victoria area and looking for a enthusiastic atmosphere and great food, try the Sticky Wicket. "
