October 2010 — "Gilbert’s Woodies Café is located on the Municipal Wharf. It is a casual dining experience. You order at the counter and then they call you when it’s ready. There is small dining area with large windows to watch the beautiful scenery. The café is decorated with photos of woodies (cars) and they play 60s beach music. My husband had the clam strips and fries. He thought it was okay but it was his first time having clam strips so he was expecting more. He couldn’t taste the clam from the batter. I had the special of the day which was a half crab bake and it came with a small bowl of clam chowder. Both were delicious! The crab bake combined a sauce of shrimp, crab, mushroom, garlic and cream, on bread and topped with cheese. Yum!"
