"Great, Inexpensive Sports Bar"

November 2010 — "My coworker and I were in Atlanta for an event and decided to have supper in downtown Atlanta. As we explored Atlanta we found a little sports bar called Gibney's Pub. Gibney's looks small initially but it is actually an L-shaped pub with a pool table, booths with small television screens, and a large bar with seating for lots of people. The beer and alcohol list is quite extensive with very very cheap drinks. The prices were actually lowered but the menus had not been updated! The food menu had your typical entreés like spinach dip, cheese sticks, buffalo wings etc. The main meals included burgers and sandwiches. I had the Philly cheese chicken sandwich with chips and an entreé of buffalo wings (medium spiciness). The buffalo wings were large with lots of meat on them. I would order hotter ones next time as I felt "medium" was a little tame. The chicken sandwich was massive, with melted cheese, lots of mushrooms, and huge pieces of grilled chicken! I couldn't finish it all! The homemade chips were crispy but a little too salty for my taste. For the price (just a little more than your average fast-food restaurant) and the atmosphere, you really can't go wrong with Gibney's pub! My coworker and I ate there 2 days in a row!"

November 2010 — "Last week I went to this place with a college of mine, since we were on a business trip. We were really surprise with the prices they had, it was pretty cheap prices for they offered. The quality of the food was good and they had a good variety on the menu. Service was good too. I ordered a philly steak sandwich, it was good.
One of the cool things at this place is they many TVs showing sports programs, but they also have on small TV in each booth, I found this really interesting.
I recommend this place."

November 2010 — "From the outside, this place looks like any other sports bar, nothing special. When you first come in, the ambiance is nice, not too noisy and not too quiet; no one takes you to the table, you can sit wherever you want and someone come too see you pretty fast. they also have a good size bar if you like to sit on the bar. On the menu they don't have a lot of choices. We ordered buffalo wings and philly cheese steak and they where both very good.
Service was very good also.
If you are not looking for a classy place I would definitely recommend it. I was on a visit to Atlanta and went to this place twice in 2 days.
