January 2011 — "My husband and I visited this restaurant on a Friday evening. The restaurant was very empty. The food was good, quantity was not as much as in other chinese restaurants. But what really made us angry was the automatic tipping which was added to our bill. I understand they add tipping in larger parties - but a party of 2!!! This should not be allowed. We will not go back to this restuarant because of that."

November 2010 — "A friend of mine and I met for lunch downtown at the Pink Pearl in Banker's Hall. She had been there before and highly recommended we go together. I was REALLY happy that we had reservations, because I don't know that we would have gotten in without them. It was so busy! The tables are very close together to accommodate everyone at lunch so don't expect a lot of privacy. We were seated, given menus and served water in about one minute! The service was very good at all times. We both decided to have the lunch special. It was delicious. The only thing I would complain about is that I found it to be a little bit expensive. For mixed vegetables, ginger beef (my friend had General's Chicken) and fried rice, it was $15. I would say that's a bit pricey. However, with the quality of the food and service being so high, I would definitely go back. Great place for a downtown lunch! "
