April 2012 — "My husband and I came here with our friends for a friend’s birthday. We were seated very quickly and were provided with menus and drinks immediately. The place wasn’t too packed which was good. We decided to get a set menu with portions for 2-3 people and then added two more dishes on the side. We added jap chai which is a noodle dish and bimbambop which is a rice dish in a hot stone bowl. The set menu includes short ribs, beef ribs, and various other things such as potato cake and a soup, which we switched to a spicy soup. That with the various side items they provided were so much food. The food came out quickly and was very, very tasty. I am very pleased with everything that we had, it all tasted so yummy. The only downside was that we ordered too much. When we ordered the set menu, we thought they were being generous giving us more portions since there were 4 of us, but in fact, they had assumed we wanted the menu which is for 2-3 people but for 4, so upgraded us. So with the menu for 4, plus the two sides we added, there was a lot left over and the price went up a bit too. But considering how much we ate, it was worth it and I’m sure we’ll be back."

February 2011 — "Koreanna BBQ restaurant is tucked away in a small strip mall just off of Macleod Trail. It's definitely not a place I would have easily stumbled upon on my own. I went for lunch on a Saturday with a friend to try out their unique mixture of Korean and also Japanese cuisine. Their lunch specials are advertised on menus as only available on weekdays but the waitress was nice enough to allow us to order off it on the weekend. The menu was mostly Korean items with a few Japanese specialties mixed in. There was no sushi however. I tried the bulgogi beef while my friend had the short ribs lunch plates both of which came with a serving of miso soup. Both our orders were plentiful and flavorful. All orders also come with a sample of Korean sides/appetizers which includes sweet garlic potatoes, cabbage, and kimchi amongs a few other small sides. Menu was priced decently as most items were around $10 to $15. The restaurant is also very spacious which makes it an ideal place for large families and guests."

January 2011 — "Always on the prowl for some Korean food, my friend introduced me to this new place Koreana BBQ Restaurant, in the south and it was surprisingly good. I say surprising because I have been driving past this place every other day for a month and just discovered it. My one wish is that I had tried something different though, but I was rather satisfied by my bibimbap (the one without the hot stone) but equally yummy. It looked like the place to be on a cool Saturday evening. The tables were full and the food kept coming. The appetizers that came with the meal, were no different than any korean place, with some picked and spicy daikon, kimchi, bean sprouts, my personal fav - the potatoes (which were good, but a bit of a soggy mess) My friends all got ome soup like dish with some korean marinades and they were all beaming with satisfaction. Pretty good I must say and another restaurant on my list of korean places to dine in Calgary.

August 2010 — "We were a table of 6 people and ordered combo A BBQ (medium size) and it was meant to feed way less people according to the menu. We ended up with so much leftovers and everyone was so full at the end. They served us so much meat and their service was fast and prepared. We really enjoyed eating here and would recommend it to anyone who is in for a deal (Korean food is usually much more expensive when its a meal for 6). "
