June 2010 — "During a recent weekend getaway in Melbourne, my travel companion and I headed to Seven Seeds for breakfast after a big night out. She had had the cafe recommended to her on separate occasions from two different people so we thought it was worth a try. It was slightly challenging to find as it is in a nondescript brick building on a random street. Once we located it and made out way inside we found it to be a busy and very big cafe. It seemed like the type of place where Melbourne's cool, outdoorsy types hang out. There was a bike rack full of pedal bikes inside and several bikes hanging from a rack on the ceiling. We found a table by the window and ordered breakfast from our very nice server. I'm not normally a coffee drinker but since they're known for their coffee I tried a latte and it was delicious. For breakfast I tried the French toasted brioche with pear, ricotta, roasted almonds and maple. The flavours all complimented each other well and it was a very tasty breakfast. The prices were reasonable and we left very full. We even got another coffee to go!"

Seven Seeds is often wildly busy despite the fact that a passerby might not realise its even there, situated in what looks like an old, brick warehouse. The interior is spacious with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The specialty is coffee and fans can purchase a bag of the Seven Seeds beans to take home.
