February 2012 — "My wife and I have been hearing reviews of this place for years! Everyone goes on and on about Coras. So, one morning while we both were off work and our daughter was in school we decided to check it out. First of all, it is far for us. A good 40 min drive. We walked in and were seated right away. The menu, while isn't overly large offers enough choices. I enjoyed an omelet with hashbrowns and toast, while my wife ordered a crepe filled with fresh fruit, nutella and custard. Both of our meals were huge, and delicious, and expensive. I mean, you do get a lot for what you pay for. But I am cheap....and that was one expensive breakfast. On the whole, would I go back? Maybe if I was in the area for a special treat. But I certainly would not go out of my way. After you pay the bill. They give you a fresh piece of fudge. That was a nice touch! "

September 2011 — "So I visited Cora's today for breakfast with a friend. The hostess, waiter, and all the servers were really nice, attentive, pleasant and surprisingly cheery for a Sunday morning. Our food came within minutes, plates overflowing with fresh fruit and steaming hash browns...I ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and wasn't too disappointed. The Hollandaise sauce was delish, the eggs were perfectly cooked, and the fruit was colourful; kiwi, bananas, pineapple, apples and canteloupe....such a beautiful plate! My only complaints were that I could visibly see greasy fingerprint marks all over the edge of my plate, my cutlery was dirty, and the smoked salmon was stone cold underneath the warm eggs. Not sure it was worth $15.00, as I've had perfectly good Eggs Benny for under $10 bucks elsewhere. Despite this, my the rest of my breakfast was good and the service was great. I venture to return to this Cora's sometime, and maybe order something else like their fluffy waffles piled high with fresh fruit & syrup...yummy."

"Best Breakfast"

November 2010 — "Cora's Restaurant is one of the best Breakfast's Ive had before. Apparently it is quite a popular place, but I had never been before. My sister suggested it on a Saturday morning when we were deciding on a place to go. It is located downtown, and is quite busy little spot of a Saturday morning. We were seated quickly and didn't have to wait as there are many tables, but there were alot of people and I think we just got lucky. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with Asparagus, and swiss cheese. I also had the option of ordering fried mushrooms with my fried potatos which I did. My daughter had the kids waffles with fruit and my sister had the eggs benedict with brie and mushrooms. All of their menu items are very original not your typical, breakfast place. When our plates arrived I couldn't believe my eyes! Such huge portions and the plate itself was a work or beautiful art. We ate our meals, even though it was hard getting into such a lovely plate design! Our food was fast and delicious. Next time you want to check out a new breakfast place, try Cora's. Its great."

"In the mood for fruit?"

November 2010 — "All I ever heard about Coras’ had to do with the wait times to get a table. Luckily last Sunday, I woke up earlier to beat the rush, and headed down to the closest location to give it a try. The restaurant (we went to the location in Northland Mall) is cheery and bright, all around. The service matched this demeanor. The menu, is gigantic! But be forewarned, if you’re not in the mood for something with fruit in it, you may want to try a different breakfast venue. Not feeling the fruit, I ended up ordering the spinach and cheddar crepe. Suffice to say it was very, very bland. I can understand the crepe appealing to some, but compared to the fruit-stuffed crepe a friend of mine ordered, it was very underwhelming. I can’t imagine waiting 30-plus minutes to try this place again, but if its easy to get a table, I’ll definitely come back, if only to try that fruit-stuffed crepe my friend ordered. "

"Just breakfast"

August 2010 — "Eating at Cora's is not something I would do every weekend, but I mean, if you want a big breakfast, this is the place to be, apparently. We stood in line for a while to get into this famous restaurant and though it was good, it doesn't please my palate in particular. With large portions and long lineups, as well as screaming kids all around, it's a place that I can go to and would recommend if you love breakfast food, but would easily pass up on. I thought that they did have a lot of selection, with crepes and eggs in all sorts of different ways, and fruits of all sorts, it just isn't screaming for me to go back. I settled on a breakfast omelette since lunch sandwiches were not available for the weekends. I was full, but not fully satisfied. And on top of it all, we went to the far far south to have this meal, not knowing that there was one at the Northland Mall. "
