December 2011 — "I've been to this place a couple of times with friends -- usually we head here for pre-drinks before heading out on the town, but it would be a great place to spend the whole night. They have a fabulous drink selection -- lots of great wines, plus some really interesting cocktails and mixed drinks, and good draft beer too. They also have a really impressive menu -- it's mostly stuff like burgers, salads, sandwiches, etc, but they usually have some unique ingredients. Everything I've had here has been good.
The people here are really friendly too -- we've always managed to meet friends and get into conversation with locals. The service is prompt, the decor is sleek and modern, and the location is perfect -- though it can be a bit hard to find, since it's on the second floor. All in all, a great spot for a drink and a meal, either before, during or after a big night out. "

November 2010 — "I've visited the Banff Ave Brewing Co on two recent visits to Banff. We enjoyed it so much the first time we went that we made sure to stop in again on the next trip.
The pub is located upstairs in the Clock Tower Mall and is quite big with room for lots of locals and tourists. On our first visit there was a hockey game on and they pub was playing it on several big TVs.
The crowd at the pub was very friendly and we ended up chatting with the people sitting nearby. They've got a big menu of appetizers, pasta, rice bowls, salads, soup, burgers and entrees. I had the grilled salmon and veggie sandwich and it was delicious.
They serve a range of drinks at the pub but the real star is their beers brewed onsite (vats can be seen in the pub). I tried the blonde ale and the pilsner and both were very good. I preferred the nice, refreshing pilsner but the ale was tasty too. "

August 2010 — "We were in and out of this pub several times during our stay in Banff for several reasons. Our first stop as weary travelers was because we needed a beer and it was at the end of the strip where we did our preliminary walk of the town...
The following times we returned because we were happy with the food and the service was outstanding. Over our few visits we had nachos which were good and wings that were great. As all pubs should be able to do, the wings were very well cared for, lightly batered, fried and perfectly sauced.
The service here was consitantly outstanding, and each of the servers we ended up with was great. They were sincere, and actually cared about making sure you were happy, refreshing indeed.
They also have a great decor in the pub, with a nice open layout that makes it quite a bit of fun. There is also the balcony that overlooks the main drag which was great on those sunny days. "
