January 2012 — "We were in Invermere for the weekend and decided to go out for breakfast! We had been to Huckleberrys in the past and wanted to check out their breakfast.
It wasn't busy when we arrived just after 9:30. The service was slow but tolerable.
My wife and I both ordered an omelet each, our mini companion a waffle. For my sides I choose pancakes and an order of toast. My wife got hasbrowns and toast. The omeletes were so greasy. I mean shine on your plate greasy. The hasbrowns were deep fried and dried out.
I didn't mind mine, but my wife who is not used to your typical greasy spoon place did feel sick after....
For our breakfast it was just over $50.00 which for 2 adults and a small child is kind of crazy if you ask me.
If we are in the area again....I think I would for sure take a pass!"

August 2010 — "My boyfriend and I needed to go somewhere for lunch today and he was craving grilled cheese, so we went to Huckleberry's. I hadn't been to this particular restaurant in more than ten years and now I remember why I've been avoiding it all this time.
Our server was almost friendly as she filled our coffee mugs and took our orders. We both ordered french onion soup to start, followed by a grilled cheese for my boyfriend and a grilled bacon, cheese and onion for me with fries and gravy.
The soup was good. On par with frozen soups available at many stores. The grilled bacon, cheese and onion sandwich was okay. The cheese wasn't really melted, or, rather, appeared as though it had been melted but had since solidified. It had plenty of bacon and onion in it, so much that they were falling out on my plate. The server forgot the gravy and I didn't bother to remind her because I decided I probably didn't need gravy anyway.
The food was alright, but overpriced. There was some ham on the floor by our table, which was unpleasant and the service wasn't great. I don't think I'll be back. Ever."
