April 2011 — "Having grown up in Devon, I've told my wife and kids many times how it has the best pizza ever and they shrugged it off every time I mentioned it. Our visit in April allowed me to prove to them my statement was true! I was pleasantly surprised to see the new location as the old restaurant was in dire need of an update. Although they have a substantial menu including pasta, lasagnas and steaks, I stuck to the tried and true pizza option, ordering the Hawaiian. The large would feed at least three adults because each slice is very filling due to the amount of toppings, especially the amount of cheese! They got the proportions of ingredients just right, with a thick crunchy crust, generous amounts of cheese and lots of ham and pineapples. It tasted more like a old family recipe rather than a promotional chain outlet. I was also surprised to see the original owners who opened the restaurant decades ago. This is a true family restaurant, and I would highly recommend Florida Pizza to anyone. "

"Love their Pizza"Joy
April 2011 — "Why do they call it Florida Pizza when it is in small town Alberta? I don't know, but I do know that their pizza is awesome! I went to Florida Pizza for a family dinner, there were 10 of us at the table and we had a great time. I really like their new location, it is a lot more modern and has nice flooring, seating and paint colours. I ordered the Florida Special pizza, it had loads of toppings on it and it was delicious! The service was quite fast and the staff were very friendly and helpful which we appreciated because we had 3 small children in our group. There are flat screen tv's mounted on the walls around the restaurant, so we could watch the hockey game if we wanted. The only not-so-great thing was that our table was right beside the kitchen and it was really hot being so close to the pizza ovens. But having their amazing pizza was worth it!"
