June 2010 — "– Café Mexigo is located in several places throughout Victoria, making it very accessible for a quick bite. Having travelled to Mexico I can say that the food is more Tex-Mex than Mexican; however, the ingredients are quite fresh and the food is made to order so it is always hot. I have a weakness for tacos so tend to order the beef or chicken tacos which come in two’s with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and cheeses. They are also served with guacamole, salsa and sour cream. The tacos are a fairly decent size and two certainly fills me up for lunch at a cost of about $10. I do have to say though that I cannot visit Café Mexigo without buying an order of chips and salsa! The tortilla chips and salsa are hand made everyday and taste incredibly fresh. The salsa is perfectly blended and tastes incredibly refreshing. The service is incredibly quick at all of the locations I have visited and the facilities are always very clean. The ambience is very fun with Mexican map wallpaper and bright vibrant colours. Although Café Mexigo may not offer the most authentic Mexican food, it definitely beats a burger or pizza for a quick lunch! compared to its counter part - Cafe MexiCO, i would choose this one by far!"
