May 2010 — "Attached to Greco is George’s Lounge, where the food comes from the same kitchen, but the specials are in the lounge. Their “specials” menu is set and they have many regulars who visit each other while enjoying the daily specials. Wings are always on special and they come in a variety of flavours, including Greek—a really nice change. Wednesdays mean pizza, and mushrooms are my favourite. My meat-loving husband decided to try a piece and I’m not sure he’ll be the same anymore! He said it was the best pizza he’d ever eaten; that’s saying something considering his middle age. I also shared a Village Greek salad with him and I loved their dressing that covered fresh tomatoes, cucumber, a bit of green pepper and onion, Parmesan cheese, and garnished with olives. The small salad (one step up from the side salad) was large enough to share with a bit left over, and I enjoy sharing with him because he eats the olives. The staff was very friendly and helpful, suggesting we move to a bigger table so we were more comfortable, and the service was prompt and timely. We continually heard the servers say good bye to customers as they left, not uncommon, but they called them by name and when we mentioned this to our server, she said she’d known the couple who’d just left for years. Really good pizza; maybe she’ll know our names one day. "
