April 2010 — "Apparently, Lucy's has been in Fernwood for a year now, and I'm sorry to say that I never noticed it until yesterday, when a friend and I grabbed some lunch there. This place is fantastic! Great service, good atmosphere, and the best pizza I have ever had. No kidding, the stuff was amazing. It is not your typical pizza, be warned. This pie, which was the special of the day, was topped with pear, pork, brie (I think), and some delightful sauce. The crust was thin and clearly handmade. Though I first credited this gastronomical delight to the chef's uncanny ability to perfectly match flavours, I later found out that the kitchen uses locally sourced and natural ingredients, which I'm sure contributes to the flavour as well. As for the experience, the waitress was very friendly and we were seated almost immediately after entering. It is a small dinning area, accommodating no more than 25, and it combines a classy bistro vibe with a relaxed, casual ambiance. While it feels very professional, they balance it out nicely by supplying paper table dressings and pencils to draw with (it's classier than it sounds). All in all, I would highly recommend Lucy's to anybody looking for a quality meal in a nice, quiet atmosphere."
