March 2010 — "Wow - after a long, tiring expensive look. We have finally found our new favorite take out for Chinese food! Golden Leaf has been in our neighborhood for years it is on the corner of 37th street and 46th Ave SW. Who knew? We have ordered from there (sadly) several times in the past couple of weeks. The food is fantastic. My wife hates Chinese food and she can't seem to get enough of this stuff. It is non-greasy, which we often find Chinese food can be. And the delivery is quick and it always seems to come within the time they estimate! Our favorites are the spring rolls, ginger beef, dumplings, deep fried won tons, chicken fried rice and salt and pepper chicken! A dish I might add isn't even on their menu, but they kindly custom make it for my wife every time! They also off a discount if you pick it up, which is nice if you can get organized...although - we never seem to make there! "

In operation since 1979, the Golden Leaf is an area favourite. Specializing in Chinese cuisine, they offer delivery from 4pm from Tuesday to Sunday. Dinner combos are available, or order a la carte dishes such as Cantonese chop suey, almond chicken balls, pan fried shrimp, honey garlic ribs and salt and pepper squid.
